Codelist for Postal code areas

The whole of Norway is divided into postcode areas, and the code authority's corresponding map data set gives you the extent of the official postcodes in area. Postcodes for post box facilities are added. The versions are adapted for use in a statistical context, so that the versions start on 1 January each year. However, changes can take place throughout the year. As of 2015, the versions are based on the October version of the postcode area map. Before this, a number of adaptations have been made, e.g. based on available microdata, scanned postal address books and the post office database.
