Codelist for NUTS
NUTS (The Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics) is an administrative division defined for EU member states, but also for EFTA and candidate countries. The NUTS classification is changed / updated periodically and it is therefore necessary to note the differences described in each version / variant. Classification has three hierarchical levels: NUTS 1 is the whole country. NUTS 2 includes regions. NUTS 3 includes counties. In addition, there is a more detailed division called LAU (Local Administrative Units) which includes municipalities. You have to click on the pluss sign in order to see all levels in the hierarchy.
