Classification of energy account

The Energy account includes energy products produced and used in industries in the Norwegian economy and in Norwegian households. This is independent of where in the world it happens. Norwegian consumption abroad is included, while foreign consumption in Norway is excluded. This is called Norwegian economic territory and is the same demarcation used in the national accounts.
