Classification of region

Region is a level between county and the entire country. The regions consist of a certain number of counties.

Region 2026

Version 2026 is established to harmonise the Standard for regional divisions with the map versions, as the adjustments of the county boundaries between Østfold and Akershus result in corresponding changes at the regional level.
