Classification of type of vessel
This is a harmonisation of vessel type codes based on codes from the Norwegian Maritime Directorate, Eurostat and Lloyd's. The nomenclature will be used on all statistics on water transport, e.g. Port Statistics, Price index on sea and coastal water transport, Merchant fleet statistics and statistics on Arrival of vessels in international ports.
