The standard classifies agricultural land and cultivable land approved transferred to non-agricultural uses pursuant to the Agricultural Land's Act and the Plan and Building Act, by main purpose of the transfer. Agricultural land and cultivable land are defined according to the land classification system in the Norwegian general map series. The division by main purpose mainly follows the division stated in § 25 in the Plan and Building Act.
